Green utility pedestal in front yard

Hello Xfinity team,

I’m the homeowner at my address and there is a green cylindrical utility pedestal near my driveway/front yard. I believe it may be Comcast/Xfinity equipment, but I’m not certain.

I would like help with three things:

  1. Confirm whether this pedestal belongs to Comcast/Xfinity.
  2. Confirm whether it is active or abandoned.
  3. Find out whether it can be removed or relocated, and what the process/cost would be if relocation is possible.

This is not a standard internet service issue. I believe it needs to be reviewed by the local construction/engineering team.

I can provide my full service address and photos by private/direct message when requested.

Thank you.

Hey there, @user_9iafeq! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums! I would be more than happy to look into the details on our end regarding the equipment at the location. I do want to share, typically, if the equipment is ours and the request to relocate the equipment, there may be a charge for completing the work. Can you please send us a DM to get started?

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.
