Gigabit X2 availability in Salt Lake City, UT region

When will Gigabit X2 be available in the Salt Lake City, UT region? I’ve scoured the internet trying to find some kind of plan or publication from Xfinity. I found a single article from 2022 saying that Xfinity was improving their network in the Salt Lake Valley and would be complete sometime in 2025. I’m trying to find out if and when the Gigabit X2 plan will be available at my address in South Jordan. If it is not, I’m switching to Google Fiber.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Great question, this link https://www.xfinity.com/broadband-labels once you put in your address you can go look as a new customer and it will show you all the Internet plans we currently have in your area. If you're like my address it has not been upgraded to the next generation speed tier yet but i did get an email that they're starting to start the process,  which this link https://www.xfinity.com/network   has great information and how to stay informed on when your area has been upgraded to the next generation speed.

OrlandoM, Your links do not answer my question. Your second link is a merry go round of non-information. I'm really considering moving to google fiber. I can't believe no one at Xfinity knows the roll-out plan for increasing bandwidth across the Salt Lake Valley.

user_30728s I apologize that the information on the rollout is not available by area. Once your area has been upgraded to receive the enhanced speeds you will receive an email from Xfinity letting you know.

Is anyone (employed by Comcast / Xfinity) able to answer a very simple question which has already been asked by various users many, many times. Can ANYONE determine whether or not Gigabit X2 is available for a certain area? Obviously that information exists, I cannot understand why it is not readily available via a map of some kind. Regardless, WHO can answer that question directly based upon an address without having to call customer support and get stuck in an endless loop of automated prompts? The AI assistant is worthless and cannot provide this information. Thank You......

Again, your customer service is useless! I can see if it is available myself. I want to know WHEN IT WILL BE AVAILABLE! There is a plan somewhere in the Xfinity/Comast universe, your company should share it with the customers that live in their service areas.
