Gigabit Pro availability

How do I check if Gigabit Pro service (6Gbps symmetrical) is available at my address? Calling sales is totally useless.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @milans. Thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums for support, you have contacted the right place for assistance with checking on symmetrical speeds in your area. I did find a great article that goes over our network management, and looks to be updated as of 11/06/23: https://www.xfinity.com/networkmanagement.

To see the plans currently available to you, please go to https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service. If speeds higher than 1.2 Gigabit are available it would show them for your address.

@milans, yes 6GBPS symmetrical would be the same speeds for upload and download. Currently, 1.2 Gigabit extra is the highest speed in a majority of our network area. The article goes over our network information, and has links to check availability.

If you go to this link, and put in your address: https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service. It should pull all the speeds available in your area. If you don't see anything being offered above 1.2 Gigabit extra, that would mean your area network hasn't been upgraded to support the higher symmetrical speeds.

@XfinityJustinC "Currently, 1.2 Gigabit extra is the highest speed in a majority of our network area". Not true at least to my area. Please inform yourself before giving false  and misleading information.

This is exactly the reason I said talking to sales is useless.
