Gig Harbor

When will X-Class service be available in Gig Harbor, WA.  I currently have 2 Gig service and would like an XB 10 modem.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Welcome, @user_gxzc0o! Thank you for creating a post with you questions around X-Class (symmetrical speeds) service availability. While searching does not confirm availability in Gig Harbor yet, this service is being rolled out in a limited and phased manner across the country. The best way to determine if it is available at a particular address is to use one of our plan/promotion sites such as this one. Once you enter the address, you'll see symmetrical speeds (300/300, 500/500, 1000/1000, and 2000/2000) listed as an option to shop from. Since you already have 2 Gig service, you are likely in an area with some form of upgraded network, but you'll need to confirm if your area has received the Full Duplex DOCSIS 4.0 (FDX) upgrade necessary for the symmetrical speeds of the X-Class tier and the XB10 (and the website is the best place to start). We can always double-check if you believe it has become available, but you run into trouble upgrading online.

Do you know when it will be available?  The Xifinity store says it can be shipped to me?

@user_gxzc0o Hopefully soon. You'll get notifications directly of the upgrades happening, and when you can upgrade to the symmetrical speeds. Keep an eye on Xfinity emails for the next steps when your location is ready.
