Getting the run around
I'm dealing with a runaround trying to finalize a renewal. Retention confirmed a $40/month 300 Mbps plan with a 5-year price lock is available to me, and I'm ready to sign — I just also need a $100 technician fee waived for a minor relocation of my existing line (moving it about six feet to a spot on the same exterior wall where it was previously located). Over nearly two hours on the phone I was bounced between three reps: retention said tech support had to waive the fee, tech support said retention handled it. Could an Official Employee help me get this finalized?
