Getting service to our street.

We currently do not have service on our street. I am told it is 1000’ away on the same road and the total cost to get to my home is $20K. I am at the end of the line farthest from service. How many of our neighbors need to be willing to sign up for service for Xfinity to be willing to build out the street?

@user_bj8145 Thank you for reaching out. We wouldn't be able to provide an estimated amount of home needed to bring down the cost or if the cost would be reduced. The best advice I can give is if you wanted to reach out to your neighbors and to have them put in a serviceability request themselves and mention that others on the street have also expressed interest in setting up services if the line was installed in the area.

Could you provide a link to the serviceability request page?

@SplitRock18 I apologize, but the request for serviceability is not a customer facing website. We would have to enter a ticket for them, or they could visit a Xfinity Store nearby. They can reach us through xfinity.com in the chat, here in our community, or by phone at 1-800-266-2278.
