Getting rid of another great app xfinity remote
Not happy you are getting rid of remote app. I love the app. For those who are older and want to scroll thru the guide. The app on a mobile device is the best thing ever. So much easier to see than on the tv. Not to mention once I find what you want to watch you just click on the show and it pops up on your tv. Trying to read a scroll the guide on the Tv is not easy for older eyes. You could also set to record a show from the app another great option that will be gone. Voice remote does me know good if I do not know what i want to watch and I want to scroll thru the guide. It is hard to view the guide on tv with older eyes. You guys are always getting rid if the stuff I like1st the email app now this. Alsothe app that allows you to assign devices to each person sucks every time a device does an update it does not recognize it and thinks it is a new device. That app worthless but you keep that one. Also you make it hard to even find a place for me to give you my feedback..

I agree. They do not tell you they are getting rid of the best app and quietly try to convert you to the horrible Stream App that does not allow you to select a show and have it show up on your tv. I am now looking into cancelling my service. Makes no sense. I now need two apps or 2 devices to change the channel. I can use the Stream app to filter channels and find what I want. The guide is just as good as on the Remote app. However, I can only cast that to a streaming device, not an X1 box. So, to change the channel I just found, I now need to pick up the remote, type in the channel number and press enter. Or, I need to switch to another app on the web, sign in or use the EASY CONNECT feature, wait for the 7 digits to appear, type that in, then change the channel. Who in their right mind thought this is a better customer experience. I am done with them.
