Getting a line rerouted

When comcast initially installed our internet, a line was ran on the outside of the building into one of the rooms. My landlord needs to paint over this area, so i need a tech to come out and reroute the cable through my attic into the same room. How would I be able to do this? Tried the text chat option and the automated phone option to get ahold of someone and neither of them were helpful at all.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Good afternoon, @post920. I hope you are having a happy Friday! The new paint sure will be nice! We are able to set up a technician visit to come out to address the line. They can move the line and if any further work is needed like replacing the drop line, they can set it up. Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
