Gen 1 Pods Won’t Come Online

I had 1 pod from previously and just bought 3 pods off eBay. One pod will connect but the other two won’t. I’ve been back and forth with the chat bots and agents several times but haven’t gotten any new information about why this isn’t working. I am able to wirelessly add them toy device list, then it has me “wait while the pod comes online” for several minutes and then says the pod couldn’t come online. I’ve been trying to get this to work for several days with no success beyond that first pod I got working. I pay for faster internet but am only able to access it in a few rooms of my home, and I’m very frustrated.

Thank you for reaching out @user_65exea Do you know if these are Gen 1 or Gen 2 boost pods?

@XfinityDena Gen 1. They have just 1 Ethernet port

Gen 1 Xfinity WiFi Pods (single Ethernet port) often fail because they are incompatible with newer XB8 or later gateways, or if you are using an older gateway (XB3, XB6, XB7) they cannot receive necessary firmware updates to remain compatible with updated Xfinity network security standards, effectively making them obsolete. Is the single pod you had previously a Gen 1 as well? @user_65exea

All 4 pods that I have are Gen1 as far as I know. They all have 1 Ethernet port.

@XfinityDena I’m renting my gateway and just got it a year or so ago so it should be relatively new.

Which Gateway do you have @user_65exea? Is the only pod that is working the one you had originally?
