Gateway upgrade from XB6 to XB8

I am currently subscribed to the 1Gbps internet plan and using the XB6 gateway. While my wired connection delivers close to 1Gbps as expected, my Wi-Fi speeds are significantly lower than expected. I understand that the XB6 only supports Wi-Fi 5, which may be limiting the wireless performance. Could you please let me know if I am eligible for a gateway upgrade to XB7 or XB8?
