Gateway modem

Anyone else upgrade to gateway service and never get the gateway modem?  it has been 2 weeks and when i call they say it will be sent soon....I am ready to cancel that service.  I wish I had other options for internet in my area.  Customer service is severely lacking with comcast.

Have you looked into buying your own internet gateway? The one I have (Arris SBG6580) is a bit older but has served me well the past 5 years or more since we switched to internet from this company.

They were certainly the better (and faster) option than the phone company, who wanted to charge us $30 a month for UNDER 1Mbps internet.

I just wish we had other options here too.
