Future Speed Upgrades Over 1.2 Gbps in My City

I was wondering if there are speeds currently available over 1.2 Gbps in my area, Fresno, California, 93710. If not, are there plans to roll out faster speeds like 2Gbps or higher in the near future. Additionally, will these upgrades be implemented through the current DOCSIS 3.1 infrastructure, or will they require future DOCSIS 4.0 technology? Any information about timelines or availability in my area is appreciated. Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

calreacher Thanks for reaching out to us about speed options in your area. I would be happy to see what our highest speed avaiable is currently. I can't provide any details of when our enhanced network work will be done for your area if it hasn't already as that information isn't available to any agents, but it will happen if it hasn't already. At this time our 2 GBPS speed will still work with a Docsis 3.1 modem. I'll need account information to look up what speeds are available.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
