Frustrated with loops in chat, the app, and the phone
I reached out earlier today to switch my service between units in the same building. They said they would have to charge me $100 to send a technician. I let them schedule an appointment. I went back to chat though because I wanted to know why just switching units would cause an issue where I couldn’t just bring the router and self install like I had previously. The next agent said that I could self install, and they went through all these steps to set up a new account at my new address. It disconnected us when I linked my accounts though. Then I spent 4 hours trying to go through equipment activation, troubleshooting, and talking to the chat bot. The chat bot looped for hours and wouldn’t connect me to a live agent. I called and got out in line for over an hour to no avail. They did a text chat thing, and I got disconnected right away from that too before resolution. I spent hours on this and am extremely frustrated. I work from home and need internet soon. We had a pipe burst force the last minute emergency move, so I couldn’t look at this in advance, but this shouldn’t be this hard. It makes me want to just switch providers. Has anyone ever experienced all of this? Not getting help and just in loops on every step?
