Friend returning equipment

Hi! We are moving. Can a friend return our xfinity rental getaway modem/router and tv box for us at an xfinity store?

I imagine they can send it via UPS as long as I send them the address label for print. Correct me if that’s incorrect. But my main question again, is if my friend can drop off equipment at xfinity store for us. Thanks!
