Frequent Service Outages in My Area
Hi, over the past two weeks, I have experienced at least 6 service outages in my area (94560), and showing the message “there’s an outage in your area.”
As a work-from-home employee, I rely heavily on stable internet. These repeated disruptions have forced me to take my laptop to libraries or coffee shops multiple times!
Please investigate the root cause urgently, and provide a resolution timeline. Thank you so much!

@user_7jsvh8 Our team can definitely understand how stressful and irritating it is to have issues with your internet connection. We all work from home on this end of the screen so we can completely relate to how it causes you to make arrangements that you didn't expect. If you weren't aware, you have access to 22 million hotspots with your Xfinity ID and password for any emergency Wi-Fi situations. There may be a close-by option available if you needed, check out https://hotspots.wifi.xfinity.com/ to find hotspots near you.
While we would love to provide you with those details about the root cause and the worker being performed we are not provided that information and only what the customers see through similar tools to the Xfinity app and our support page when there is an interruption in the area. It could be a multitude of factors that have caused the recent issues but rest assured our amazing technicians are working towards getting the service reliable once again.
