Frequent outages

Hello,

I am inquiring as to why there are so many internet outages in my area. I call the 1800 number, but I am the virtual assistant won’t let me talk to anyone. It seems these outages are becoming more and more frequent. Supposedly, Xfinity upgraded their equipment. If this is true, then why am I going without internet for four and five hours at a time. This is almost happening on a daily basis.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_ts1y0n Our team can take a closer look at your account to see what has been going on with your connection and service lately. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

The virtual agent just hangs up on you constantly and will not connect you. The only way I have been able to connect to people is tell them I have a billing issue. They are all to eager to connect you to a human when they think you might be paying them. On top of that xfinity outages seem to be happening more and  more often in my area too. 5 days in a row with issues currently.
