"Free this week" doesn't apply to everyone

Xfinity seriously needs to look into their "free this week" options.  Many times the free this week is only available if you also have Xfinity internet.  Yet, if we only have cable, we don't get things available through the "free this week" option.  

Either separate it out by service so everyone always gets free this week or find a workaround.  You definitely charge enough and the locked in prices only lock in part of the prices, so you decide to up the cost of everything else to CYA.

epictale Xfinity X1 customers can watch Free this Week programming for free on their X1 TV Box and with the Xfinity Stream app (with your Xfinity ID and password). The Xfinity Stream portal works as that bridge between the different sources of programing from cable to streaming.

I think you missed the point.  I can see several shows available through my OnDemand guide, that say free from Hallmark+.  

They can't be pulled up through my cable box because I don't have Xfinity internet. 

They are not listed online at the link you provided, nor in the xfinity stream app. 

So, please explain to me like I'm 5 years old, how I'm supposed to be able to pull these shows up.  

Otherwise, your so called "free this week" leaves some of us, including platinum level rewards members without your free options.  Maybe you need to two or three different "free this week" options for people who have different packages.

Free this Week content may not be available across every platform. Some networks or apps may require X1 and Xfinity Internet. If you're familiar with our Xfinity App we have a section where you can add as much feedback as you wish for leadership. I will also share your concerns.

@epictale​ I actually have Xfinity internet and I'm being offered things through, "free this week," however it still says I have to rent or pay for the things that are advertised as free.  Xfinity website and structure [Edited: Language].

Same here. I just spoke with a representative who said since I only have Xfinity internet I am not entitled to the “free this week” although my email said I am.

Same. Got the email, only have Xfinity Internet. Open the app, won’t let me get past “sign up for this [Edited: Language] tv package” msg 🙄
