Thanks for reaching out to us, as a customer myself who works from home and has an older built home,  I understand the need to have a strong Wi-Fi connection throughout my home.

If you have our awesome Xfi complete https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/xfi-complete . Our system runs home assessments checks on the Wi-Fi connection in your home to determine how your Wi-Fi coverage is working.

When the Xfi complete is first added to your account it  will do a home assessment of the Wi-Fi signals in your house and after 14 days you should get a notification on how your Wi-Fi connection is working,  which will either state your Wi-Fi coverage is working fine or you can improve your Wi-Fi connection by adding our awesome Xfinity Wi-Fi boost pods.

If you did get that notification to add the boost pods there will be a link for you to click on how to add the free pods.

If you got the notification that your Wi-Fi coverage is fine it will run another assessment in six months to determine how the coverage is working and if they're is the need for the Xfinity boost pods https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/wifi/xfi-pod

I apologize if you're not understanding what I mentioned above,  to get the free Xfinity boost pods you must have our Xfi complete service, if you have our Xfi complete,  the day it was added to your it would have ran a Wi-Fi assessment over your home coverage and within 15 to 20 days of being added to your account you would have received a notification on the Wi-Fi assessment on if the pods were needed or not

Do you currently have the Xfi complete on your account? A good way to check is via this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/viewing-your-bill-online-ecobill

This will give you access to your current bill and your past 12 months of bill if you Scroll down to Page 3 under regular monthly charges and under that you will see either 0 charge (if you own your own modem) , or a $15 charge if you're leasing the Xfinity modem, or you will see the Xfi complete which is $25 unless you're getting a discount off of that fee
