Free IPAD scam
@Xfinity Support I upgraded to XfI a couple weeks ago, been having longtime issue with dead spots in the house and trying to get the free PODs for basement and living room, Allegedly I am getting one, only 1 but a battle for another day. My 14 day assessment was up and I reached out thru Xfinity chat on the site, it had me approve in app so legit xfinity support. I let them know I was following up on the assesment and had several screen captures of weak and fair WiFi signal and wanted the pods. after chatting, he said one time he'd send me the PODs but asked that I wait on the chat while he placed that and we had a lot of idle chit chat, tried to ask about mobile for a sale... Then said with my package I get a free ipad 10th gen. Did I want them to order it, i said they previous agent mentioned nothing about that. He said it was part of my package did I want to order, initialy I said yes as Ive gotten give aways with packages. then i googled and saw all the scams.
Is this real or not given it was your customer support within your network offering up the free ipad??? Did he order my WiFi POD(s)? They kept me on the chat for an hour to process an order of pod(s). I also have a download of the transcript.

Hello @user_05e38a, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum, and we would be happy to help. Did you sign for the iPad at all or receive it in the mail? Have you checked your Xfinity App to see if your shipment is showing in there?
