FREE Ipad offer appears to be a scam
I called in originally looking to lower my Home internet bil, but somehow got the Xfinity mobile phone team. It was explained that since home and wireless is a bundle, they have a promo to keep my $30 a month wireless bill the same, but new promo includes a free ipad! I was hesitant and said no. But I was pressured into it and was assured that the bill would stay the same. I got my ipad yesterday and it was a cellular version so I got suspicious. After a lot of digging in this forum, my bill will not stay the same and the cellular ipad is here to charge me an additional device monthly fee. And I locked myself into a 3 year contract probably. Not a good experience here, but maybe it can help others to be a little more careful.

Hello @user_strgu0, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry to hear about your experience. I can absolutely understand why you would feel frustrated and concerned if you were told your bill would stay the same, felt pressured into accepting an offer, and then discovered information that made you question whether additional charges may be involved. We want our customers to feel confident in the services they add and to have a clear understanding of any applicable terms, pricing, and commitments before making a decision. We'd like the opportunity to turn this experience around for you.
If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
