Formal Service Complaint – Repeated Xfinity Outages Affecting My Work
Hello Xfinity Support,
I need to formally report and escalate today's internet outage.
My internet service suddenly went down at approximately 1:17 PM EST while I was in the middle of an important work meeting. I work remotely, so losing my internet connection during the meeting seriously disrupted my work and caused a significant professional impact.
The Xfinity outage notification showed an estimated restoration time of 4:00 PM EST. I cannot simply wait several hours during working hours when I depend on this service for my job.
I have also noticed repeated outage notifications affecting my area, so I am concerned about the reliability of the service.
I am requesting:
• A review of today's outage, including the actual start time, cause, and restoration time.
• A formal complaint/escalation regarding the impact this outage had on my work.
• A review of my account for any outage credit or goodwill adjustment I may be eligible for.
• Written confirmation that this complaint has been recorded and an explanation of what can be done regarding the repeated outages in my area.
Please do not simply send me the automated outage information. I am already aware that there is an outage. I am specifically contacting you to document the serious impact it had on my work and to request that this be reviewed by a customer-support representative.
Please provide me with a case/reference number.
Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
