Formal request to block overage charges on my Xfinity account

Good morning

I am requesting a formal billing control on my Xfinity internet account.

I do not authorize any data overage charges.

I asked customer support to enable a hard data cap or data block so my internet service is paused when the monthly data limit is reached, but I was told this does not exist and was pressured to purchase Unlimited Data instead.

If a hard data block is not available, I am requesting written confirmation that no overage charges will be billed to my account under any circumstances.

Please document this request on my account and confirm in writing.

Thank you,

user_wvxqk1 Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. There is no option to prevent data charges if you go beyond the data threshold. However, all of our new plans do include unlimited data and I would be more than happy to help you explore the options available to you. Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your fuill name and address to get started.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
