Formal Notice of Dispute

Subject: Formal Notice of Dispute — Discharged Bankruptcy Debt and Unsubstantiated Mobile Equipment Charge

I am requesting immediate legal and executive review of Xfinity's refusal to allow me to establish new mobile service without paying a disputed $107 balance.

The balance allegedly originated in 2023–2024. Xfinity was listed as a creditor in my Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and I received my discharge in January 2026.

Despite this, Xfinity Mobile representatives have repeatedly informed me that I must pay the $107 because it involves mobile device equipment and that bankruptcy does not eliminate my obligation.

I have never purchased, financed, or received a mobile device through Xfinity.

I formally request:

1. Documentation establishing the origin and validity of the alleged $107 equipment charge.

2. A legal explanation of why Xfinity considers this pre-bankruptcy balance personally collectible after discharge.

3. Correction of any inaccurate equipment charges or account records.

4. Review of whether the requirement to pay this balance constitutes an improper attempt to collect a discharged debt under 11 U.S.C. § 524.

5. Reconsideration of my eligibility to establish new Xfinity Mobile service without paying the disputed amount.

6. A written determination from Comcast's legal or executive resolution department.

I have attempted to resolve this directly with customer service without success.

Please preserve relevant account records, recordings, and communications. I reserve my rights under federal bankruptcy law and request written acknowledgment of this dispute.
