Formal Dispute of Early Termination Fee

To Xfinity Billing & Dispute Resolution,

I am writing to formally dispute the Early Termination Fee (ETF) assessed to my account following the cancellation of my internet service.

I never authorized, consented to, or electronically signed a multi-year contract or term agreement for this account. Furthermore, my online account portal under Legal Agreements & Contracts shows no record of a signed or active contract.

Because I did not agree to a term contract, charging an Early Termination Fee is unauthorized and invalid.

I request that you take one of the following actions immediately:

  1. Provide written proof of authorization: Supply the exact date, time, and recorded electronic signature/verification showing my explicit consent to a binding term agreement; OR
  2. Waive the fee: Fully credit and remove the Early Termination Fee from my final balance due.

Please review my account record and provide a response confirming the fee waiver or the requested contract documentation within 14 days of receiving this letter.

Sincerely,

William Bevan
