@XfinityDilary What is the "replacement cost" for these Flex boxes? I ask because Xfinity tells me I must return it, yet they never specifically asked for it and when we received it, it was "free". An agent told me on the phone the replacement value is $250. What? That's highway robbery and anyone charged this amount should complain to BBB among other remedies.
Just to get a feel for what the cost SHOULD BE, I see that you can buy a Roku Ultra (which is significantly better than Flex!!) on Amazon for under $100. Thus Xfinity's stated claim that it will cost me $250 is price gouging at best!
KiheiMan Good morning! Thank you for reaching out to our Community Forums Team for assistance with your equipment questions. While we don't charge a monthly rental for the first Flex box, we do want it returned in the event you are no longer using it. The replacement cost for the Flex box is $120, which is much lower than anticipated. Returning Xfinity equipment is also part of the Customer Residential Service Agreement. Please feel free to let me know if you have any follow up questions I may answer for you, and have a great weekend!
