Flex Box Scam
I order service in late 2020. I order service without a device. It shows on my order form. They came in January of 2021 to install service and left a box behind. We returned the box in January of 2021. We never used or saw a flex box but now that I'm moving they say they left one behind. But I can show I returned the equipment they left except they are saying it was a flex box left behind and not a modem. So they are saying they got a modem returned, that of course is not on our order, but never got the flex box - which is not on our order either. BEWARE of XFINITY scam. I just cancelled the call for new service at my new home - thank goodness the service line on our street wasn't complete, otherwise they would have had me in a new contract when they sprung the $120 charge.
Why hasn't anyone taken up a class action on this one - this is clearly a scam. So many people never used the equipment and they left it behind without anyone asking for it.
