After 2 hours on the phone yesterday with a live agent and still no tv she said a technician needs to come to the house.

Did you know you can check on your Xfinity technician's status, you can use the Xfinity app to track their estimated time of arrival (ETA) and monitor their progress on a map. You can also view your appointments and their details within the app. 

 
Here's how to check on your Xfinity technician:
 
Using the Xfinity App:
  1. 1. Download and log in:
    Download the Xfinity app on your iOS or Android device and log in with your Xfinity ID and password. 
     
  2. 2. Locate the appointment:
    Go to the "My Account" section and find the "Appointments" or "Support tickets" section. 
     
  3. 3. Track the technician:
    If you have an upcoming appointment, you should see the technician's estimated time of arrival (ETA) and be able to monitor their progress on a map.
     
Other ways to check:
  • Check the Support Page:

    You can also check your support tickets, including appointments, on the Xfinity Support Page.
  • Sign up for text updates:

    If you provided your mobile number during scheduling, you may receive text updates about the technician's ETA and status. 
     
  • Use Xfinity Assistant:

    The Xfinity Assistant can also provide information about your appointment and connect you with an agent if needed. 
     
Important reminders:
  • Technicians may run behind schedule due to previous appointments taking longer than expected. 
     
  • It's a good idea to have someone 18 or older present during the appointment and to secure pets in a safe place, Xfinity
