Fire hazard in equipment and refusal to replace
I have the xfi complete plan that I am paying a monthly fee for. As part of that I have a wifi booster that Xfinity provided. Today the booster started to make a loud humming noise and was very hot to the touch. I called customer service and they said to take it to the store to get it replaced. I did that and after an hour there they said they can’t because it is out of warranty. How can it be out of warranty if I am paying a monthly fee for this service? I then tried the online chat and they said they can’t help with this. Xfinity needs to stand by its product that they are charging me for and that have become dangerous. How can I reach someone there to replace this wifi booster?

Hello, there @user_43fe79 I will be more than happy to help with your request. To begin, would you mind sending me your name and the address to your account in a Direct message?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
