I have been trying to determine how to get my dual modem to allow me to specify the 2.4 for a traeger grill. I get NO service online. I need someone to walk me through. I took me 45 minutes to get a human being. They transferred me to another line that was AGAIN AUTOMATED. I never had this poor a customer service experience with ATT!!!

Good Evening @user_d43a85 I'm so sorry to hear that you've had frustrations in connecting your Traeger grill to the 2.4GHz network. Are you using a personal modem or an Xfinity Advanced Wireless Gateway? (XB6 and above)
If you're using an XFi Gateway, you can assign devices to the 2.4GHz network, but you do need to change a setting using the Xfinity App. Follow these instructions
1. Open the Xfinity App
2. Scroll to the Wi-Fi Section
3. Click on your Wi-Fi Network Name, then click "Edit Wi-Fi Settings"
4. At the bottom of this page is a setting called "Split Bands" that you'll want to activate
6. Assign a unique Wi-Fi band ID and password to the 2GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz if available (XB8 devices have the 6GHz band enabled for the fastest speeds but the most limited range)
7. You'll then be able to connect devices specifically to each band.
