file complaint
I gotta say Xfinity has been okay for the years we have had it but recently the service is downright horrible. There was a fiber upgrade at our house and afterwards service was degraded to very poor and constant disconnects. Contacted customer service to assist and they sent out a technician who fixed the issue. Couple of weeks later find out I was charged 100 dollars for the technician and I've called and chatted with customer service who kept saying it's a valid charge for asking for a technican. I've called multiple times spoke with customer service who say it's a valid charge and then later being told they would credit and not credit the account. No one at xfinity wants to help or can help with this charge that we should never of been billed for their so called service upgrade. If we have to pay this fee then we will be looking for another service provider hopefully with a better business model.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @jess_jess_S_89, and thank you for posting on our Xfinity Community Forum and being a longtime customer.❤️ I understand your frustration, especially after experiencing service issues following the fiber upgrade and then seeing a $100 technician charge on your bill.
For transparency, technician charges can apply if it's determined that the reported issue was not related to Xfinity services or leased equipment. You can learn more about service visit charges here: Service Visit Information.
That said, we'd be happy to take a closer look at the visit details and the charge on your account. Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to "Xfinity Support". To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
