Fiber/Coax service instead of WiFi Gateway
I am looking into setting up internet service at an apartment I am moving to next month, but the only available service appears to be the WiFi Gateways. I remember seeing coax cables running from the walls in the unit I looked at, so I am unsure why I am unable to specifically request fiber internet service.
I would much rather prefer to be connected to the fiber network. How can I get this set up?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_76laeh Hi there, and welcome! Are you currently on the Xfinity website looking to set up your service for your new home? When you type in your address, do you receive a notification about the Wi-Fi Ready Location? In a WiFi-Ready unit you can locate the pre-installed gateway, usually housed in a media panel, closet, or near a coaxial outlet. Or are you receiving a notification about the available equipment at the location?
