FedEx delievered to the wrong place

FedEx was supposed to deliver to my address. But instead, they left the package in the mail room of my apartment complex. There are signs in that room that explicitly say not to do that and to leave packages on the front door of the address. When I went to check the mail room, the package was no longer there and no one in the front office knows where it is.

I have contacted FedEx and they said that they could not locate the package. So, it was suggested that I report the package lost/missing to the vendor (which I'm doing with this post) about the next steps.

Good morning, @user_l72flo I am sorry to hear this happened. Have you had a moment to contact the carrier?

user_l72flo You absolutely would want to contact the carrier to get further information, and if this is confirmed as stolen, you would also want to file a police report regarding the stolen package. The carrier would open an investigation as to the location the package was delivered, they typically take a picture of the box in the delivery location.
