False advertising
My husband and I went into the Xfinity store, [Edited: "Personal Information"], to purchase a new phone for my husband. He had the Google Pixel 4, he loved it. Looking at the online prices, he thought he would have to settle for a Samsung A14 because he wanted low monthly payments under $10 a month, but when he went to the store he was directed to a promotional deal going on (in store only) for the Google Pixel 6. He was super pumped! The staff member who directed him to this deal, pulled it out from the back, and as we are checking us out when the staff member says "Oh, sorry. That promotion is over...." and then explains the price that it would be ($17 a month) if he still wanted the phone. My husband, who has been a customer of Xfinity for not only our personal, but our business needs as well for YEARS asked if the store would still honor the price that was being advertised and promoted in the store. The staff member said there was nothing they could do, it isnt their fault becsuse no one tells them when the promotions are over, puts the phone back, and directs my husband back to the the same display area the wrong promotion was at, to look back at his options. As we were leaving, I took a picture of the advertising that was not honored, but still being promoted as we left. We had been there another 10 to 15 minutes and the incorrect advertising was still on display. For the hundreds of dollars we give Xfinity every year, it is ridiculous to me that the store would not honor the promotion that was being advertised by the store and staff.
