Hello user_uxipfq. Thank you for reaching out and sharing with us the call you received from this number. I understand how concerning this could be not knowing who to trust anymore on phone calls.
I am not familiar with the number offhand, as when outbound calls are needed you should see the 1-800-Comcast number appear on your caller ID. I tested this number in our system, and it does appear to call back Xfinity, however it simply hangs up after a brief message that all the operators are busy.
Have you reached out to Xfinity recently for help with any of our products or services? If so, it could be an agent trying to resolve an issue that was reported, but they would leave a message with the ticket number they are working.
