Extremely Difficult Cancellation-still getting the full month bill

I have cancelled my internet service, but still got the full monthly bill.  

I have spent hours on my cancellations.  I was finally told it got cancelled on Oct 1. HOWEVER,  Why I am still getting the full monthly bill., instead of half.

SO DIFFICULT!

@user_1d3db7, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. Because we bill 30 days in advance, you may receive a new bill after your service has been canceled. Don't worry, anything that you overpay will be refunded to the last payment method used on your account within a few weeks as long as all rental equipment is returned and there are no outstanding balances owed. Let us know if you have any other questions.
