Exposed cable - 2 months

On April 28th, 2025 subcontractors from https://www.nationalconcretecuttinginc.com/ cut through the Comcast cable in front of 8002 NE 140th Pl, Kirkland WA.  Comcast came out and draped a replacement cable across the street in a cedar tree, then across the driveway of this residence.

It has been TWO MONTHS and this temporary bodge job is STILL THERE.  How long until this is fixed?

lemoines, Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. I can understand the importance of getting that line fixed so it's no longer lying across your driveway. I am sorry to learn about the delay in getting this fixed. You've brought this concern to the right place. We are a team of experts dedicated to resolving line concerns such as this over social media. We can help. Can you tell us if you have an active account with us, and if you are noticing any service issues affected by this temporary line?

Hi @XfinityGabriel.  This isn't my driveway, it's down the street from me so EVERYONE "downline" is at risk from this cable getting run over / tripped over / vandalized etc.  I am not experiencing issues from the line but I can't help but think my continuity of service (and that of my neighbors) is at risk.  Yes I have an active Comcast account, that's how I logged in here ;)

lemoines Thanks for the additional details, and pictures. Let me get a work order in for this or see if one is already in.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
