Existing Customer seeking help to transition to $45 Internet Plan
Hi Xfinity Support,
I'm reaching out because I want to lower my monthly internet bill to the current $45/month promotional tier. I value my service with Xfinity, but my current rate has become too high. I see that the $45 plan includes the necessary equipment and unlimited data, which perfectly fits my needs.
Can you please look into my account options to see if we can switch me to the 5-year price lock promo? I am ready to provide my account information as soon as you reply. Thank you!

I’ve been trying to do this myself for a year. I’ve been on NOW 200 MPS Service for awhile now. I was on regular Xfinity for many years prior. They have you by the nuggets…that 5 year plan is for NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY. The 200 MPS NOW is fast enough…frankly, it’s plenty for most people. And it’s reliable. But I would like the 300, and some of the improved security features of standard Xfinity. Nope…despite being loyal customers of Xfinity for years, they choose to stick it to us, my friend. WE can’t get it. We get stuck at $80/month for the same service. Your best bet may to be see if you can live with the NOW Service.
