Exceeding Internet Data plan
I received and email saying “you’re getting close to exceeding your internet data plan.” I don’t recall adding data to my plan. Can you tell me what this means? Thanks.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thank you for reaching out to us on our community forums @user_00a40f! Just to confirm, are you referring to Xfinity internet services or Xfinity Mobile services?
Our residential internet services automatically come with a 1.2 Terabyte Data Plan. For more information on our data plan, we have this really helpful link.
Our Xfinity Mobile services offer by the gig and unlimited data. We have three different unlimited data plans for Mobile customers based on their needs. Unlimited Intro offers 20 GB of high-speed data per line, Unlimited Plus offers 30 GB of premium data per line, and Unlimited Premium provided 50 GB of premium data per line. Speeds on these Xfinity Mobile unlimited plans are reduced after going over the limit. For more details on our data plans for our awesome Xfinity Mobile services we have this link.

I have received a similar email/text. I received a call today from Xfinity (allegedly) that I could switch from the capped data plan to an unlimited plan for an extra $10.00 per month. I am trying to determine if this is legitimate; however, I'm been having a hard time reaching a live xfinity agent to verify. If one could please comment on this post it would be appreciated.
