Every apartment except mine can get service

I've moved into a building where many apartments have Xfinity service. If I search for service at Xfinity.com, I get the message "Unfortunately, Xfinity service is not available at this address." If I enter a different apartment number, service is available, or already installed. There are coax connections in the living room and bedroom.

Is there any way to confirm that my unit actually can't get service? Is this something that can be fixed?

Unless this is a brand new apartment with you as the first tenant, the previous tenant may have an outstanding bill, which would put a block on your apartment.  If this is the case, you'll need to take your lease and a photo ID to you nearest store and show them so they can remove the block.  Your best bet is to either visit your local store or call 1-800-COMCAST or 1-800-XFINITY.
