Ethernet cord

Technician came out a couple weeks ago to make sure my Ethernet in the garage was hooked up to the main house modem. Finally installed tv and when I plug into Ethernet cord it does not work.

I am on my phone…which may be the problem, but I don’t see a bell icon in the top right hand corner. Is there a link you can provide to direct message?
