Escalation ticket closed before resolution

I had a ticket opened after a 2 hour customer service call today, ending with a promise to get a call back a few hours later from a manager.

I never got a call back, and my ticket has been closed with no resolution.

Is there a way to re-open a ticket so I don’t have to start all over again?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the video to reach out, evdoho! It sounds like you may need to start over again, but I can definitely look into this for you to find out for sure. Worst case scenario you start over here with us, and we see this thing through to a resolution. In order to get started can you, please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

I was told I had a ticket.  But when I call back no one seems to know anything and will not put me through to someone who does.  How do I find the status of my ticket?

Hey there, user_c4175b, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your ticket status. We would be happy to help you with the status.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
