Escalation Request – Confirmed Technician Appointment Canceled Without Notice
I am requesting assistance with an unusual scheduling issue that I have been unable to resolve through normal customer service channels.
I had a confirmed Xfinity technician appointment scheduled for August 8, 2026. I did not cancel or reschedule that appointment. However, I subsequently discovered that the appointment had been canceled by Xfinity without any notification to me.
After contacting Xfinity, the earliest replacement appointment I was offered is August 14, 2026, between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM. I have also been placed on the appointment waitlist.
I appreciate being placed on the waitlist, but that does not address the underlying problem: Why was my confirmed August 8 appointment canceled without my authorization, why wasn’t I notified that it had been canceled, and why am I now required to wait until August 14 because of a cancellation I did not request?
I would appreciate having my service appointment restored or expedited as close as possible to the original August 8 appointment.
I would also genuinely appreciate knowing what caused the cancellation. Was it initiated manually, by an automated scheduling process, or by an AI-driven system? If an automated process canceled the appointment without generating a customer notification, that would seem to be a workflow issue worth investigating.
I am not looking to make anyone’s life difficult. I simply want to get my Xfinity service established, understand what happened to my confirmed appointment, and make sure the same problem does not happen again.
Thank you very much for taking the time to look into this. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.
