Error on tv when requesting wifi info
when trying to access my Wi-Fi name and password from the settings on my TV the Screen states: your Gateway doesn’t support this feature. Upgrade to Xfinity XFI to display your Wi-Fi name and password along with other advanced features. Request an equipment upgrade at xfinity.com/equipmentupdate. can you tell me exactly what equipment I am requesting?

Hello user_43efka thanks so much for reaching out here on our Xfinity Forums! The equipment this is referring to is your internet modem. If you're using Xfinity equipment, it will need to be updated to a newer model to access the XFi features on the X1 cable box. Going to xfinity.com/equipmentupdate and signing in with your Xfinity ID/password will get that equipment order set up for you automatically! We're also here to help should you need it.
