Equipment Rental

I just learned at the Xfinity store that they no longer charge "rent" for Xfinity equipment. I was told they were forced to stop to keep up with competitors (who were not charging rent). Okay, great, so would Xfinity have then stopped charging their current "rental fees" to customers and would the customers see those rental charges drop off, correct?

Hello @user_ant5j4, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Great question. Our new Next Gen internet packages include unlimited data and the modem at no additional charge. If you’re on one of our legacy internet packages, unlimited data and the modem are available for an additional cost.

We’d be happy to review your account with you to see which promotions you’re eligible for that could move you into one of our new Next Gen internet packages.
