EPON Member-Owned Router — Need ONU Provisioning for Ubiquiti UDM-Pro SE
I have Xfinity residential EPON fiber service with an ONU and XB7-T gateway. I want to use Xfinity's newly announced Member-Owned Router option for EPON and connect my Ubiquiti UniFi UDM-Pro SE directly to the ONU.
My UDM-Pro SE has a 2.5 GbE WAN port and meets Xfinity's published requirements for multi-gigabit EPON service.
I am NOT requesting bridge mode on the XB7-T.
I want the XB7-T removed from the data path and my Xfinity EPON service provisioned for direct Ethernet connection:
Xfinity ONU → Ubiquiti UDM-Pro SE
Please add the appropriate customer-owned-router/COAM configuration or billing code, remove the XB7-T from my active service configuration, and provision the ONU for Xfinity's Member-Owned Router configuration.
I currently have 1 Gbps symmetrical EPON service.
Please have an Xfinity representative familiar with EPON Member-Owned Router provisioning contact me to complete the change.
