EPON fiber – request ONU reprovision for member-owned router

I have Xfinity fiber (EPON) with an ONU. I am requesting the member-owned router option per the official article:

I do not want bridge mode. There is no CM MAC. Phone/chat agents keep ignoring the request and trying cable-modem steps.

Please remove the Xfinity gateway and reprovision the ONU so I can connect my router directly via Ethernet. Any standard router that supports my speed tier is allowed; no My Device Info lookup is required.
