Enough with the Cheesy Keyboard Typing

Is this seriously improving anybody's customer service experience? I'm already forced to speak with an automated customer service representative, is it entirely necessary for it to "pretend" to type? It is incredibly condescending and only compounds the irritation when I call in about the various network outages in my area. It is ridiculous and demeaning.
