Enabling WPA3 or WPA2/WPA3 Mixed Mode on XB7 Gateway
I’m an Xfinity internet customer using the XB7 gateway. I would like to enable WPA3 or WPA2/WPA3 Transitional Mode on my device, as it currently only offers WPA2 and Open options in the Xfinity app. In the web admin interface (10.0.0.1), the “Security Mode” setting is grayed out. I’ve verified through my connected devices that my network is currently using WPA2-Personal only, and I’d like to take advantage of the improved security WPA3 provides. Could you please confirm:
Whether WPA3 can be enabled on my account/device?
If not, whether I can be placed into a rollout group that has access to WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode?

Hey there user_wi2xxs. The XB7 does not have WPA3 access. If you get one of our XB8 gateways, you should be able to access that feature. The XB8 should have access to the WPA3 mixed. Let me know if this helps.
