Enable ONT for Personal Router

I am a new customer with fiber service, and was provided an ONT as well as an XER10. The XER10 does not and will not support bridge mode for me to use my own device. Phone and online support have been unable to help me, but I have seen that support on this forum as been able to get the correct folks to push an update to the ONT that will allow me to connect my personal router directly to the ONT. Could someone please contact me asap to set this up?

RadianWear, thank you for reaching out. With Xfinity Fiber, the XER10 gateway does not currently support bridge mode. In some fiber deployments, it may be possible to have the ONT reprovisioned to allow a customer-owned router to connect directly to the ONT, but that requires review by the fiber engineering/provisioning team.
