Emergency Escalation Request: Total Service Outage & Delayed Appointment

Hello Xfinity Support Team,

I am writing to request an emergency escalation for my account. My internet service is completely offline, and the earliest appointment available through the automated system is delayed far too long. Because I rely on this connection for my livelihood, a prolonged total outage is creating a severe issue.

Could a regional dispatch supervisor please perform a manual calendar review for my service area to secure an expedited or emergency standby slot?

Here are my account details for verification:

<Edited: Personal Information>

  • Current Scheduled Appointment: August 12 at 5:00-7:00

I tried to escalate over the customer service line today, but I am not sure the representative was able to do that.

Thank you for your prompt assistance in getting my home back online.

Did not get on the waitlist following your instructions.

The technician fixed the outage. They said the old amp could not receive the new signal introduced by the upgrade done in our neighborhood. When he upgraded the amp,  all is well now.

I was quite surprised that Xfinity would upgrade my neighborhood, not know they caused my  system to go off line, and then take 3 days to repair it.

I have 2 questions:

—————————

1. Why doesn’t Xfinity know in advance when system upgrades will cause old homeowners systems to go offline.

2. Why doesn’t Xfinity hire more technicians to meet more demand.

I  think a high level review of Xfinity’s business model would help these issues. I would start with gathering data from their technicians with first line experience . They know the problems and solutions.

That is my thoughts on my experience.

Thanks for getting my system back on line.

Sometimes when problems occur, the way a company corrects those issues separates the great companies from the mediocre ones.

We all want Xfinity to be a great company.

URGENT SAME-DAY TECH / DISPATCH ESCALATION

My internet is currently down and this is a recurring issue whenever it rains, which strongly suggests an exterior line/tap/connector or water-ingress problem.

I have spent approximately 3 hours on the phone today attempting to get assistance. I repeatedly requested a supervisor and was placed back on hold rather than transferred.

I am traveling tomorrow and will not be available for the appointments being offered later this week. My internet is also supporting my home security system, so I need service restored before I leave.

I am requesting that you please review today’s technician schedule, cancellations, standby availability, and any regional dispatch escalation available and see whether a technician can be sent today.

I can be available any time today and will accept a cancellation on short notice.
